I don’t want to come across as a Neitzschen eugenicist here, and I know I’m touching on a sensitive, emotive subject in which I have no personal experience, but I must question the wisdom of systematically allowing infertile couples to perpetuate infertility genes throughout the gene pool. Surely someone must be able to perceive a future where no one will be able to conceive without assistance? No? Just me then. Even Professor Fishel clearly hasn’t thought this through.
